While I love entering into the weekend free of plans and obligation, taking each leisurely hour as it comes, I also love having something fun to look forward to on Saturdays, when it's just me and my daughter spending quality time together. This past Saturday was Science Day at The Montshire Museum of Science in Norwich.
The last time we visited she was 2. I've been looking for an excuse to return to see what new things capture her attention and fill her brain with wonder.
On this day I had also embarked on a "day in my life" where I took photographs all day to capture things that were especially poignant or told my story of everyday life. It was special to include a trip to the Montshire in this personal documentation.
So many wonderful displays and attractions are not pictured in the set below, these are just our highlights and favorites!
The fish are always an attraction. Especially the fish tank that's hidden in the children's play area, Andy's Place.
She loved running around Andy's Place, and I loved taking a little break while she played safely on her own.
Below, she learns about viscosity.
The bubble area is another favorite, and especially fun to photograph. This said, I couldn't keep up with her darting from station to station, so I put the camera away and got in on the action.
