Sometimes I am in the right place at the right time. As was the case when I caught this sunset at Civic Memorial Park in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Family was visiting. Our little one was baking cookies in the kitchen with her grandparents.

A faint, pink glow shimmering outside our picture window caught my eye as I passed through my living room. The late afternoon sunset was going to be a good one. It would come and go quickly. Its stunning tones lasting just minutes. Taking advantage of my daughter’s distraction, I dashed out the door with my camera. I pulled into the Lebanon School District office parking lot on Seminary Hill and jumped out of the car. I was met by a small family skiing Bryar Field’s gentle slopes. They were kind enough to allow me to capture them in the background of my shots.

Right moment, right time. Beautiful light. Beautiful New England. Enough said.
