With a rare day to myself, I set out on a photo adventure across Vermont and New Hampshire. I began in Bradford, Vermont, crossing over to Haverhill, New Hampshire, followed Route 10 to 302, and landed in Bath. Then I traveled east onto 117 to Sugar Hill.

The morning began with a delicious breakfast at 4 Aces Diner in West Lebanon with my husband, Sal. I saw two ads on my paper placemat; one for The Brick Store in Bath, and the other for Harman's Cheese and Country Store in Sugar Hill. I marked those as the day's destination and to make some images for New Hampshire Now.

I lived on Goshen Road in Bradford from 2013-2016. In a tender corner of my heart is a passion for its gorgeous views and weathered structures that conjure the ghosts Vermont's past. Here are some shots from the first leg of my trip.
