Following Christmas my daughter and I drove to Cape Cod to celebrate the season with family. Driving down on Friday was horrendous. It rained all day, traffic was slow through Boston, and a 3-1/2 trek took 5 hours. The Cape is soooo dark at night, and the glare from the rain did not help. BUT, the next day was a stunner. We woke to 54 degrees and sun. I convinced my dad to take us down to the beach to breathe some fresh sea air, and of course, take a few pictures.
